The Gitral tanks are used in pumping systems for water distribution in building service. The working principle is as following. Pressurized water is conducted by a pump into the Gitral expension vessel. As water enters the membrane, the initial pressurized air volume - closed between the membrane and the steel wall - decreases and thus pressure increases. Once the desired pressure is reached, the pressure switch stops the pump and pressurized air fills the system with water. The pump restarts working again as soon as the pressure switch records the set minimum pressure.

Applications

Water distribution
Pressure increasing
Obtaining a better regulation
Increse of pump's life

Features

As water is in contact with the membrane only, steel parts of the expansion tanks are not subject to corrosion.
Rubber membrane construction according to alimentary hygienic speccifications.
Easily interchangeable membrane.
